Actress Cameron Diaz and baseball player Alex Rodriguez have decided to put an end to their relationship after 18 months, in order to concentrate on their careers.

“They have broken recently. She is very busy with his career and he has been injured and now wants to concentrate on your game. They are very dedicated professionals,” said a source told Us Weekly magazine.

But despite breaking the couple remain friends. “They remain friends and like each other. They have a tremendous respect for each other,” the source added.

Cameron recently revealed that she realized how much I loved Alex when he stopped eating popcorn in the last Superbowl in Miami in February, something that normally would not be to your liking.

“We were watching the game and I was eating, and I was watching the last two popcorn, and suddenly I see the hand of Alex coming. Anyone who knows me knows not to stick your hand in my food, especially when it is near my mouth “he told Cameron.

“And I said, ‘What are you doing?” And then, ‘You know what, I love you, I’m going to give you. You deserve it,’ “he said.
