Apple launches iTunes in 16 countries in Latin America

Apple released iTunes stores in 16 Latin American countries including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Panama and Venezuela, the company said Tuesday.

The catalog includes more than 20 million songs, the majority at 99 cents each and albums at $ 9.99, iTunes said on its website.

The other countries where the virtual music store is available are Bolivia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Paraguay and Peru.
